Our Bed and Breakfast is located in Cocles,  about a 10-minute leisurely bike ride from the main town of Puerto Viejo. There are many restaurants and bars located along the strip from Manzanillo to Puerto Viejo for you to enjoy and explore. Our beach is a short 5-minute walk and the street is lit a night. You can walk to the town of Puerto Viejo along the beach if you prefer.

Staying in the jungle can be a noisy experience. Expect the howler monkeys to wake you up at dawn with their loud roars that are noted as the second loudest animal in the world next to the lion. They will be accompanied by frogs and birds getting in on the symphony. In the evening the monkeys howl as they settle for the night and call the troop together. Frogs begin their songs and lightening bugs shimmer in the tropical plants.

The property is accented at night with lighting throughout. The temperature ranges from low of 20 in the evenings to highs of 35 in the day all year round.

The accommodations are designed to allow a natural air flow to eliminate the need for artificial cooling from air conditioning. This keeps the temperature consistent and assists in assimilating into the tropical environment.Al windows are screened or have glass. There are tower and overhead fans in each room. The pool and outdoor showers also are readily available to help to cool down. 

The Main Rancho is an open-air building where breakfast is served. The rancho is available for use during the day and early evening. There are no cooking facilities on the property and hot cooking is not permitted. Portable cooking appliances such as Barbeques, hot plates or electric frying pan are not permitted.

There are two Private Shared Pools which includes lounge chairs and towels, located next to the main rancho and at the back of the property.

The second pool with rancho and raised yoga platform is located in a more secluded area closer to the natural jungle.
